I was skeptical about being able to stand on this because for the price, I honestly thought it wouldn't hold much since it didn't cost over $500. You really can feel the vibrations going all the way through your entire body. However, if you just want a relaxing foot massager or lower leg massage, you can use it in a sitting manner as well. I've also used it on my arms sitting down since this is extremely portable and doesn't weigh too much. You can ever bring it to work and use it there if you have that kind of freedom. I liked using the Whole Body Vibration Machine Butterfly Shape for 20-30 minutes before heading to bed. Another great thing about the whole body vibration machine is that it is incredibly quiet. Your washing machine probably makes more noise than this. It also has a nice sized base that your feet aren't too close together making you feel like you are going to tip over by losing your balance. As far as the price, I think you can't beat it compared to similar models. Since it has been out for some years now, the price has reduced drastically without sacrificing the quality of this machine.
